My wife attempted to register for more graduate school classes, but was denied by the school's online scheduling system.
Why, she wondered. Unpaid tuition? Parking in the dean's reserved space? Bra-buring student protest that resulted in expulsion?
It turns out she had an upaid library fine, which prevents class registration until taken care of. It also prevented her from getting her grades back in December, but that didn't seem to trouble her too much.
A review of our old mail showed a few letters from the university, which look like every other generic letter from the university and were therefore ignored.
She paid the fine and is clear to register...if she can get in at the last minute.
