Mary (my wife) and I decided today would be Cleaning Day. We did some long-overdue scrubbing and tidying. Ahh. The results are noticeable.
We also baked some chocolate chip cookies tonight. Sugar, butter, chocolate, eggs--all the best stuff.
Throughout the summer I managed to stick to a fairly rigid diet of fruit, raw vegetables, chicken, fish and high-fiber cereal. (I figured the cereal, which was about like sawdust, would trick my digestive system into thinking it's full.) Now I'm undoing all the healthy advances I made.
Whatever. It's Christmastime, and I'll eat what I want.
