I've been back and forth on the road the last couple of days and just haven't had time to blog anything. Thankfully, the weekend is almost here, and I can relax for a bit.
I know everyone complains about the roads in their area, but we seem to especially bad ones around Cincinnati.
Three Interstate highways converge here. Every few months there's a terrible accident involve a large truck, and the Interstate is shut down while they put out the fire and clean the wreck off the road. Traffic backs up for hours.
The authorities try to make the roads safer, which means road construction that ties up things even more--and in the short run causes its own set of accidents.
Los Angeles is supposed to have terrible traffic, but I've driven there during rush hour, and I can say that at least they one thing on their side: they don't have snow or ice. We do. Not now, but give it another month or two.
